Well! it is the frog which makes hurdles in our way by making us less productive and procrastinate. It’s the distraction in getting our work done. If we don’t make it to get out from the web of distractions, then it will haunt us like a monster. It should be better to eat that frog with a little tool named Pomodoro (“Tomato”).

Eating the frog using Pomodoro

Here’s how I ate the frog of distractions by using Pomodoro. I wanted to start Amal's course of “Creating a #superhero resume that stands out”. So, I fight the frog of my procrastination.

First, I wrote the basic to-do tasks list for every 25 minutes and turned off my mobile’s Wi-Fi and put it to silent mode to avoid distractions.

Then I set a timer for 25 minutes for the first task and put my entire focus on that task.

I went out as an exciting experience, but I also had some head-to-head collisions with distractions.

Here are some depictions of those distractions.

Ultimately, all checkboxes get ticked

But somehow, I escaped from the clutches of distractions and fulfilled the tasks in four steps.

At first, it was difficult for me to avoid procrastination and distractions, but this technique work. As this Pomodoro helped me to have an intense focus on a particular task. I was sure that if I work at the same pace, then I can enjoy the fruits of being productive.

INSHALLAH! I will try to keep on this trick of “Eat that frog with a Pomodoro” in getting my work done.
